    TalkThru is a video and text-based therapy app. Registered users gain access to vetted, licensed therapists who offer counseling seven days a week. It’s a safe space where members can talk to counselors to receive mental health support via text.
  • How does TalkThru work?
    TalkThru offers video and text-based counseling services for members. In addition, registered users can send unlimited text messages to licensed therapists who will respond within 2 hours or less from 6am to 8pm EST.
  • Does TalkThru offer services in languages other than the English language?
    No, we currently only service in English.
  • Who can use the TalkThru App?
    This APP is for users who are 18 years and older.
  • Can I use TalkThru in emergency situations?
    NO. DO NOT USE THIS APP OR SERVICE FOR MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCIES OR OTHER EMERGENCY MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR NEEDS.     Yes, TalkThru follows strict HIPPA guidelines in order to protect your data and privacy.
  • How much do TalkThru services cost?
    We offer affordable plans including an AI chatbot that is free.
  • How can I join TalkThru?
    You can download our application on your iOS or android based device, signup with TalkThru, and become paid subscriber
  • Is it available for Android devices?
    Yes, TalkThru is available on Android devices
  • Are TalkThru therapists licensed?
    Our licensed professionals are verified by our onboarding team. Our therapists are licensed and highly skilled. They have been certified by the appropriate state licensing and professional board. We provide affordable care with high-quality clinical expertise by licensed therapists.
  • How are the therapists verified?
    Our team thoroughly verify all therapists by conducting an in depth interview, background check and license check.
  • How does the messaging (chat) feature work?
    Once you are assigned a licensed therapist, you will be able to text through the APP.  TalkThru therapists are required to respond within 2 hours.
  • Can I speak through phone/video to the assigned therapist?
    No, we do not provide phone calls but our platform provides counseling services through our secure video and chat options.  You can do video calls with your therapist using the built-in video chat feature.
  • Throughout my consultation, will messages be responded to by the same therapist?
    Yes, you will have 1 therapist for all of your text and video chat sessions.
  • How soon will the therapist respond to a chat?
    It depends on the availability of your selected therapist. However, the therapist will respond to you through our secure platform in a reasonable time.
  • In the middle of the week I want to cancel my subscription, can I get a partial or full refund?
    We do not provide partial or full refunds, but we will cancel your subscription and not bill you for the next billing cycle.
  • Can I use my insurance for TalkThru?
    Unfortunately, we do not accept health insurance at the moment.
  • Can minors use TalkThru?
    No, TalkThru is for 18 years and older.
  • Can I get a prescription after receiving therapy?
    No, our therapists provide mental health counseling only.
  • I am a licensed therapist, how can I sign up and provide services using TalkThru?
